DONNIE DARKO (2001) - Omnitemporality

When there is no "I', there is no independent observer.  But the confusion in the human mind arises when it actually (in rare instances) transcend the space-time continuum and can actually percieve the interaction between energy and matter in different points in time.  There is then an independent observer of events, with a distorted view via the observation of energy-matter interactions on different planes of the 4th dimension.

Cuando no existe un ¨Yo¨, entonces no hay un observador independiente.  Pero la confusíon surge cuando la mente humana, en pocas ocasiones, puede transcender el continuo de espacio-tiempo y actualmente percibe la interaccíon entre la energía y substancia en varios puntos en el tiempo.  Entonces hay un observador independiente de los eventos, con una vista distorsionada a través de la observacíon de la interacíon de energia-substancia en los diferentes planos de la cuarta dimension.

Transcending space-time / Transcender al espacio-tiempo

OK, what I am talking about?  Donnie Darko of course, and time travel according to the characters' interpretation as they try to make sense of their heightened sense of perception of spacetime.  Apparently there are but a few who are actually receptors of this gift and can transcend the 4th dimension.  Where does it take them - either to the point of madness like Roberta Sparrows or martyrdom in Donnie Darko's case.

Bueno, de qué estoy hablando?  Pues, sobre Donnie Darko desde luego, y viajar por el tiempo según la interpretacíon de los personajes, mientras que ellos están intentando dar una explicacíon a sus sentidos exaltados del espacio-tiempo.  Apparentemente, hay algunos pocos que son receptores de este don y pueden transcender la cuarta dimension.  A donde les llevan este don?  Que sea a la locura en caso de Roberta Sparrows o al martirio como Donnie Darko.

Well, unless talking to hideous rabbits appeal to these receptors, it is best to return 'home', which is where the central character will ultimately encounter true bliss, nirvana!

Al menos que uno disfrute hablar con conejos disfigurados, la mejor opcíon es volver al ´hogar´, que es donde el personaje principal va a encontrar el regocijo verdadero, nibbana!
